Live rosin is pressed from ice-water hash made from fresh-frozen cannabis — plants frozen within hours of harvest, skipping drying and curing entirely. It is the closest legal representation of the living plant's aroma, and the most prized solventless product on the market.
How it's made
Harvest → freeze → ice-water wash → freeze-dry the bubble hash → press at very low temperature → cold cure. Every step protects monoterpenes that drying would destroy. Yields are low, which is why live rosin commands top prices.
