What it is
Isolate is a single cannabinoid — usually CBD, sometimes THC or CBG — refined to a pure white crystalline powder. It contains nothing else: no terpenes, no other cannabinoids, no taste.
How it's made
Extract is distilled, then the target cannabinoid is crystallized and washed. CBD isolate from hemp is the most common form and the base of many legal-market wellness products.
How it's consumed
Dissolve under the tongue, add to food or drinks, or dab THC isolate. Odorless and tasteless, so it disappears into recipes.
